Will Bed Bugs Ever Go Away?

Bed bugs look like they are here to stay. There are 3 ways to get rid of bed bugs available to us today. One is chemical. The bed bugs are proven to have high levels of resistance to these chemicals, clutter and laundry are obstacles to preforming thorough chemical treatments, the technician him or her self can be an issue, just like there are good doctors and bad doctors, it seems like an impossible task.
Two is heat. Takes clutter and laundry out of the picture, but the problem is expense and although very safe is done by an experienced company, can be dangerous. The problem with heat is cold spots.
Three is Fumigation. Gas can get everywhere, wall voids, under carpets, in the clutter. 100 percent kill, but expensive with restrictions. Can't fumigate a row home, at least I don't think. Single condo units may be tough.
All I can say is. Yikes.

Do It Yourself Bed Bug Trap

Jeff White from Coopers Pest Control reviews and talks about this innovated do it yourself bed bug monitor trap that the average home owner can put together cheaply. Wan-Tien Tsai, a researcher from Rutgers, came up with this idea and a good idea it is. It is important to remember that you must use extreme caution and keep safety in mind. Dry ice can freeze your hand off, children are curious and could get hurt, be careful and keep pets and children in mind.

Kill Bed Bugs With Heat

Bed bugs are tough to kill and easy to kill. How so? If you are going to try to kill bed bugs with traditional pest control chemicals, good luck. There are, however, a few methods that work in killing bed bugs, one of them being heat. If you raise the internal temperature of an area to about 115 degrees.

How to get rid of bedbugs

Getting rid of bedbugs on your own is tough to do. I'm shocked at how this you tube bedbug do it your self er makes it seem. Treating a mattress with powder can be risky business as the powder can be breath in. There is a place for using bedbug dust in a treatment, but I am not sure I'd be a free with it on a mattress. Always use common sense and extreme caution when treating any insect problem yourself. Bedbug products can be found online and may be something to consider, but also consider a professional.

Great Facts About Bedbugs

Where to look for bed bugs

In this video you see where bed bugs hide and what products the person making the video suggests using to get rid of them yourself. Bedlam is a popular product these days and can be found on most DIY pest control products websites, but it is not advised doing it yourself. Bedbugs are very difficult for professionals to get rid of let alone a DIY person. If you do decide to try it yourself then I would investigate products like Bedlam so you are best equipped to handle the problem.

BEDBUGS IN 4 STAR HOTEL

Bedbugs unfortunately can be picked up in a movie theater, on the bus, airplane, or train, in the hospital, and yes, in a four star hotel. Many people think of this as appalling, but when you consider how many people use that room in a year, it's amazing that more bed bug problems don't occur more often. We are in a battle with these little critters and until a silver bullet is found, we are going to be playing catch up behind the eight ball. A very vulnerable place to be.

Bedbugs are everywhere!

It is a shame that in these days when we can clone animals and go to the moon, that a poor old man has to deal with a problem that will only get much worse before it becomes much better. Bedbugs are a near impossible bug to eliminate, as stated in this video, as you can see the building management has spent a half million dollars on the problem, to no avail. The best intentions are often times for not.
